A Note on How Funds Are Now To Be Allocated
Due to a recent and heartening influx of hedgehogs, our centre is currently busier than ever. We have many new arrivals currently in Triage (the critical first stage of care), while others are recovering in Ward 1 and Ward 2.
To ensure every hedgehog gets the urgent care they need, we have adjusted how we allocate sponsorship funds:
- Priority 1: Triage Currently, all incoming sponsorship funds are being directed straight to Triage. This is the most critical phase where we stabilize new arrivals, treat injuries, and prepare them for recovery.
- Priority 2: Wards Once the immediate pressure in Triage eases, funds will be distributed to support the ongoing care in Ward 1 and Ward 2.
What This Means for You While we cannot guarantee a specific hedgehog name at this exact moment (as the list changes daily with new admissions), your funds are going directly to the most urgent needs. Whether a hedgehog is in Triage or a Ward, your sponsorship is saving a life.
As soon as a hedgehog is stable enough to be named and placed in a ward, we will do our best to update you, but please know that your contribution is vital right now, exactly where it is needed most.
